A strong turnout at Thailand MICE United showed the country’s readiness to bounce back from the challenges of Covid-19.

In September, 6,000 suppliers, entrepreneurs and prospective clients attended a full-day hybrid event “Thailand MICE United,” which included a trade show, technology showcase, dialogue sessions and the launch of two new business event cities.

The event saw a turnout of 1,240 delegates at Royal Paragon Hall and another nearly 5,000 via Facebook Live. A key component of the event was the MICE Mart, which served 360 pre-scheduled appointments between 132 business event suppliers from across the country, and 305 buyers under enhanced health and safety measures.

Two cities, Songkhla in the south and Nakhon Ratchasima in the northeast, have met the criteria for infrastructure, accessibility, range of delegate activities and image to join other cities in Thailand as top-tier meeting destinations.
