Q: Has sustainability become more or less important to you and your business since the pandemic? Do you have a sustainable travel/event policy?
Howie McEachernSustainability has become more important to my business since the pandemic and our strategy is very much driven by client needs. We find that each client has different expectations when it comes to sustainability, and we work with each one to deliver and measure in line with their requirements. Many of our clients are leading the way—we work with companies that are drivers of green technology, for example. Howie McEachern The Select Group
Chasley BradburySustainability was certainly at the forefront of most events pre-pandemic, but now the attention is on health and safety protocols. I think we’ll see a shift back to sustainability soon, however—we’re on the tipping point of this change! Chasley Bradbury Cosmopolitan Experiences
Gin YangSustainability is more important to our business since the pandemic. Like many organizations in the sector, we’re in survival mode. Sustainability remains, however, one of our business priorities. It has been a core business value for nearly a decade, and we have policies in place—including providing sustainable guidelines for our suppliers. We review and update these guidelines each year. We’re soon set to launch a whitepaper on how to make events more sustainable. Gin Yang Meet Taiwan
