Panama was recently recognized by UNESCO as an example of innovation and sustainability for its Master Plan for Sustainable Tourism. The plan reactivates Panama’s Tourism, Conservation and Research strategy and focuses on three key areas: Cultural Heritage (multifaceted culture and rich history), Green Heritage (biodiversity) and Blue Heritage (ocean wonders).

Business-related events in Panama, including seminars, training, conferences, forums, congresses, conventions and exhibitions, have reopened at 25 percent capacity with strict health and safety protocols in place.

The highly anticipated Panama Convention Center, situated in Panama City’s Amador Causeway, had its grand opening this year. Situated on the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal, the convention center is the largest in the region with an occupancy range of up to 23,000 guests. It is ready to accommodate meetings and events of all sizes.
