Nominated as one of the 52 countries to love in 2021 by The New York Times, Colombia is one of the trendiest destinations for both meetings and leisure due to its infrastructure, location, natural wealth and the sustainability practices implemented by its robust tourism sector.

Whether traditional or non-traditional event venues, all are equipped with digital services and a mix of practical and avant-garde designs. Colombia wants to make visitors feel welcome, and this is reflected in the quality of the service and the traditional hospitality of the locals.

Colombia is the first country in Latin America to create a Tourism Biosafety Seal endorsed by the World Tourism Organization and the World Travel & Tourism Council. More than 770 companies (hotels, airlines, tour operators and restaurants) have received the certification to guarantee strict safety measures.

Colombia is also the most biodiverse country per square meter—it has more than 1,900 species of birds and the largest number of butterflies in the world.
