A global gathering

Global Gathering

Time and time again, our wonderful IMEXers shared just how good it was to see—and be part of— the world coming together under one roof, in one place, to meet face to face. From the students at the IMEX-MPI-MCI Future Leaders Forum to the Faculty Engagement Program scholars to the MPI Foundation Rendezvous revellers to the LGBT MPA Reception networkers, the singular sentiment was “we’re so happy to be here.”

"We've had some truly great conversations and encountered a wide variety of exhibitors, making the experience exceptionally valuable. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet numerous people, including long-standing clients. As a Canadian company based in London, Ontario, it's not every day that we get to meet with clients from California and all over the country. This event provides a unique chance to do so.
Michael Gencarelli, product owner for EventConnect

“We invested in our own booth for the first time as we wanted a stronger presence at the show. We’ve had more walk-ups than ever before and a great quality of buyers. They’re coming to us ready to close business.”
Daniel Palamo, director of global sales for Houston First Corporation

“This year I was very strategic with my meetings, and I have many qualified leads. Day one I negotiated a contract and day two we finalized it. It was for an association group. I wasn’t expecting to be that busy! My last meeting is with a Fortune 500 major financial institution, so I’m thrilled.”
Jessica Cox, director of group sales for Embassy Suites

“What I found most valuable was the face-to-face interaction, especially since it's something we do less of in today's digital world. I have a program in Puerto Rico next year, so meeting with hotels in person and scheduling appointments with the DMC to discuss the destination was incredibly important. In a world where phone calls and personal conversations are becoming increasingly rare, I believe this will bring significant value to my program and the client."
Lauren Schomer, meeting and events planner for CWT Meetings & Events

We’re so happy you joined us, and the business events world, for one IMEXamazing week. It’s been record-making, boundary-breaking and most of all, brilliant fun. A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it to Mandalay Bay.

Is it too early to say we cannot wait to do it all again at IMEX America next year (Oct. 8-10, 2024)? Or even earlier at IMEX Frankfurt (May 14-16, 2024)? We don’t think so.

“I’m delighted the industry turned out in such strong numbers from across the globe this week and that IMEX America once again provided a carefully designed platform for everyone to come together for business, building better human connections around the world, growing and learning from each other. This was our biggest show ever, which was clear from the fact you can’t see the edges anymore!”
Carina Bauer, CEO of IMEX Group
