Face to face with New Zealand

Join New Zealand for kai and kōrero.
Join New Zealand for kai and kōrero.

Tourism New Zealand is promoting New Zealand’s transformative experiences and strong airline connectivity at this year’s IMEX America.

Tourism New Zealand General Manager New Zealand & Business Events, Bjoern Spreitzer says: “New Zealand’s spectacular blend of incredible landscapes, unique Māori culture and inspiring activities make it a popular bucket list destination, which helps increase incentive participation. We’re seeing positive interest from groups who seek more through extraordinary travel.”

“Plus, with new air routes and carriers flying direct, from Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Honolulu and Vancouver, New Zealand is more accessible than ever for the North American market. It is just an overnight flight for many, who can wake on arrival, ready to start the first day of their program.”

“We can’t wait to meet in person and update event planners on what’s new in New Zealand, from our three new, cutting-edge conference centers to opportunities to make meaningful connections with culture, people and the environment.”

Partners on the booth include Tourism New Zealand, flagship carrier Air New Zealand, and key destination representation from Auckland Convention Bureau, Business Events Wellington and Destination Queenstown.

Representatives from the new NZICC (New Zealand International Convention Centre) in Auckland will be present, along with Scenic Hotel Group, Millennium Hotels and Resorts New Zealand, and EVT Hotels and Resorts. Incentive inspiration will be showcased through the magic of Hobbiton Movie Set, Alpine Luxury Tours, Cheeky Kea Travel, ID New Zealand and Vokali.

Expect kai and kōrero (a snack and a chat) and New Zealand wine.
