Northstar Stella Awards name best of the best
The world's best hotels, airlines, convention and conference centers, cruise lines, destination marketing organizations and destination management companies were recently recognized in the seventh annual Stella Awards from Northstar Meetings Group. Voted on and judged by meeting planners, this year’s Stella Awards honored 242 winners and finalists.
Nearly 10,000 votes were cast from around the world for the 770 destinations, hotels and service providers nominated in 16 categories across six regions in the United States and worldwide. Top vote-getters in each category were designated as finalists and then evaluated by a panel of expert judges. Winners were selected for achieving overall excellence, superb food and beverage, professionalism of staff, sustainability initiatives and other critical aspects of the meetings and events experience.
This year’s winners included Monterey Conference Center as Best Conference Center, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, LTD as Best Cruise Line, Rosen Shingle Creek as Best Hotel/Resort in the Southeast, Delta Airlines as the Best Airline, Radisson Blu Mall of America as Best Décor/Design in the Midwest and Ocean Casino Resort as the Best Food and Beverage in the Northeast.
