Airlines add flights to the Florida Keys
It’s getting easier to get to the Florida Keys. With a major expansion in Concourse A set to be completed by summer 2025, more airlines are adding flights between Key West International Airport and major cities.
On Oct. 29, JetBlue Airways is set to resume nonstop service from Boston Logan International Airport, with nonstop daily service scheduled in January. American Airlines is adding a second daily nonstop flight from Washington, D.C.’s Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport beginning Nov. 5. On that same day, Delta Air Lines will resume its nonstop winter seasonal flight from New York City’s LaGuardia Airport. And beginning Nov. 28, United Airlines will operate two daily nonstop flights from Newark Liberty International Airport. The airline will also begin additional flights from Chicago O’Hare, Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental and Washington DC’s Dulles International airports.
In addition to those new flights, incoming guests will have a new place to stay in the form of the Isla Bella Beach Resort, which opened in Marathon in April 2023. The 24-acre, 199-unit hotel has more than 20,000 square feet of function space including 16,000 square feet of outdoor space and the 2,800-square-foot Hibiscus Event Center.
And on October 1, the Casa Marina Key West, Curio Collection by Hilton unveiled its grand renovation to guests, including enhanced food and beverage venues and a new 5,000-square-foot oceanfront event lawn adding to the existing 11,000 square feet of indoor event space.
