Dublin Royal Convention Centre opens its doors
Dublin’s newest meeting and events venue, the Dublin Royal Convention Centre, adjacent to the new Le Pole Square, is now open. The $21 million state-of-the-art building marks the final phase of significant development on this historic site.
Offering convenient, functional and flexible facilities, the venue is designed to make events extraordinary, from private boardroom meetings to professional conferences of up to 800 people and gala banquets for 550 guests.
The new city center venue, which includes Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, offers more than 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space with capacity for over 1,100 delegates, and spans two floors that house a main plenary room, five break-out rooms and an impressive exhibition space. The complex now offers 20 meeting spaces as well as outdoor, open-air event space.
“We are delighted to introduce the long-awaited Dublin Royal Convention Centre to our vibrant city, and to our Irish and international guests and delegates,” said Madeline Riley, CEO of Luxor Leisure Limited, the management company for the complex. “This project has been a long time in development and much-anticipated by our existing clients of the hotel.”
