Curio Collection by Hilton prepares to open its first location in Croatia
In 2024, Curio Collection by Hilton is expected to open its first property in Croatia. The 54-room Keight Hotel Opatija is the latest European location signed under the upscale resort brand. It will join three existing Hilton-branded hotels in Croatia operated by Zagreb City Hotels: Canopy by Hilton Zagreb City Centre, DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb and Hilton Garden Inn Zagreb – Radnicka.
Keight Hotel Opatija’s design seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor with floor-to-ceiling windows, lush plants, and soft lighting that provides guests with intimate comfort. The property features:
- A rooftop swimming pool with a sundeck and bar
- A luxurious spa with custom treatments and an indoor pool
- A restaurant and bar with optional al fresco dining
Business travelers will find the guestrooms well equipped for working and will also have access to meeting rooms of all sizes, including the hotel’s 100-square-meter multipurpose meeting space.
Located in the heart of the seaside resort town, Keight Hotel Opatija overlooks the red-tiled roofs that adorn the town center’s 19th-century buildings. Visitors can stroll along the Opatija’s seafront promenade, the famous Franz Jozef Lungomare, which is only a two-minute walk from the property. In town, hotel guests can easily enjoy nearby restaurants, bars, retail shops and parks.
For further exploring, guests can take a short 14-km trip to Croatia’s third largest city, Rijeka. The Rijeka International Airport is approximately 40-minutes’ drive from the hotel. Many of Croatia’s popular island destinations, including Cres and Krk, also are easily reachable by boat from Opatija harbor.
