Crowne Plaza opening soon in Fiji
Later this year, IHG Hotels & Resorts will open its newest property in Fiji—the first under its Crowne Plaza brand. IHG signed the property, formerly known as the Pullman Nadi Bay, in an agreement with Wailoaloa Hotel Pte Ltd.
The resort has undergone a multi-million-dollar refurbishment and expansion, led by interior design firm P49 DEESIGN out of Thailand. Highlights of the anticipated world-class Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa include:
- 324 guest rooms with two-bedroom family accommodations and ocean-facing king suites
- A new day spa with six double treatment rooms
- Updated meeting spaces plus a new 600-seat convention center
- Seven on-site dining establishments ranging from an all-day restaurant to a beach club and nightclub
Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa will expand IHG’s geographical presence and portfolio on the island as its fifth total property. It will join InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, Holiday Inn Suva, Six Senses Fiji and the Grand Pacific Hotel. The Crowne Plaza addition is ideally situated near Fiji’s international airport and key tourism area.
“We know the Crowne Plaza brand will do an exceptional job of delivering heartfelt Fijian hospitality,” said Matt Tripolone, managing director of Australia & Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “The addition of this hotel will also give our IHG One Rewards members more choice when choosing to holiday in Fiji, and we’re excited to be opening more doors for our loyal guests.”
